Warped Tour is a summer music festival that is 22 years in the making. The "music festival on wheels" travels to 41 cities in The United States & Canada. There are more than 180 bands on the summer lineup. Each day the set times are different. Some bands are on the tour all summer long while others only stay for a couple of weeks. Many teenagers and young adults go to warped tour to see their favorite bands perform and even may come home with new favorites. I had the opportunity to photograph Warped Tour on July 29th, 2017 in San Antonio.
I started off by checking out my favorite California band, Movements. Movements originate from Orange County and are signed to Fearless Records. They are truly heartfelt and put everything into their music.
Next, I caught Canadian hardcore punk band from Canada. The band is known for songs such as: Bouquet, The Disconnect & Burn. The group brought a lot of energy, jumping around and getting into the crowd even in the one-hundred degree heat.
Later on in the day, I caught Sworn In. Sworn In are from Illinois. Recently the artists released a new album titled "All Smiles" which came out during Warped Tour on June 30th, 2017.
Trophy Eyes are an Australian band who played all summer long on Warped Tour. They have been known for their most recent release of Chemical Miracle and their recent tour with U.K rockers, Mooseblood. The band kicked off their set with songs such as "Breathe You In", "
